About the Role

Hybrid | Permanent | £40,000 

We’re recruiting a Software Developer to work on a suite of internal business applications. It’s a hands-on role covering new development, ongoing improvements, bug fixes and integrations with third-party services.

The award-winning business is investing in its systems and you’ll be part of ongoing development and improvement work.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Designing, building, testing, deploying and documenting solutions in .NET
  • Maintaining and improving existing applications
  • Building and consuming APIs / web services, including third-party integrations
  • Working with SQL Server (schema changes, stored procedures/queries, data fixes as needed)
  • Writing OO code and contributing to shared standards
  • Translating requirements into deliverable technical work and keeping progress visible to stakeholders

What you’ll need:
  • 3+ years commercial experience with C#, .NET (ASP.NET / .NET Core)
  • Strong working knowledge of SQL Server
  • Solid front-end fundamentals: React, JavaScript
  • Experience working with APIs and web services
  • Confident working with Visual Studio
  • Practical delivery experience using Azure DevOps or Jira (or similar)
