What keeps me going: Actually having proper conversations with people to move their careers forward and delivering a service that goes beyond expectations. The best part is hearing about the impact; when a candidate loves their new role, or a CTO is excited by the new addition to the team and knowledge they can offer, or when a client is growing knowing the people I placed are on part of that success. That’s the exciting stuff for me. Seeing real, tangible results for both businesses and people.
Life outside work: I’m a dad of two who try to outsmart me every day (6–1 to me), an inconsistent golfer and part-time fitness wannabe. Most weekends involve some kind of day out, trying to sneak in a round of golf whenever I get the chance and, without fail, working out which bit of the sofa the TV remote’s gone missing in this time.
