About the Role

We’re recruiting for an established professional services business modernising their reporting and data platform. They’re hiring a Senior BI Analyst to deliver “decision-ready” reporting, improve data quality and metric consistency, and increase automation across their analytics workflows.

What you’ll do:
  • Develop and maintain scalable data models and reporting outputs that support business needs
  • Lead data quality initiatives, ensuring accuracy and consistency
  • Reduce reporting issues and manual work with smarter modelling and automation processes
  • Partner with stakeholders to translate business questions into requirements and solutions
  • Help build and improve the company’s new reporting approach as it’s being developed
  • Provide analysis to identify trends, drivers, and improvement opportunities across the business

What we’re looking for:
  • Expert SQL experience (analysis, modelling, working with complex datasets)
  • Python experience for analysis, automation and prototyping
  • Databricks experience/exposure in an analytical setting
  • Strong understanding of metrics, definitions, anomalies and data quality
  • Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • 3+ years in BI/analytics
Nice to have: Power BI (or similar BI tooling)

Location / working pattern
Hybrid: typically 2–3 days per week onsite. London or Ipswich
