About the Role

We’re recruiting for a Quality Controller to join a busy workshop team based in Diss. The role focuses on ensuring products meet the required quality standards, with a particular emphasis on electrical assemblies and attention to detail.

Key responsibilities:

  • Inspect products to ensure they meet required quality standards.
  • Use wiring schematics/diagrams to verify electrical assemblies are correct.
  • Carry out electrical testing using CIRRIS CH2 or similar test equipment (where applicable).
  • Maintain accurate quality records using Excel and the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Work closely with the workshop team to address non-conformances and support ongoing improvements.

What we’re looking for:
  • A good understanding of electrical theory/systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and a consistent, methodical approach.
  • Confident communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated and reliable.
  • Working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office.

Desirable:
  • Experience working to Mil-Spec and/or System-25 wiring standards.
  • Experience interpreting wiring schematics and diagrams.
  • Experience using CIRRIS CH2 or similar electrical testing equipment.

They’re looking to appoint a Team Lead to take ownership of a small, close-knit internal development team and bring structure, consistency and clarity to how work is delivered. Hybrid working | 2–3 days per week onsite This is a people and delivery leadership role, not a hands-on development position. The role centres on repairing and maintaining electrical equipment used within their hire fleet, so hands-on electronics experience is a real advantage, someone who’s spent time repairing electronics, using tools and ideally doing a bit of soldering.
