Lead Developer

The Lead Developer vacancy is with an established technology-driven business entering an exciting phase of enhancement and digital evolution.
Hybrid - Preferably 2 days per week in the office
As Development Lead, you’ll take ownership of a multidisciplinary software team responsible for delivering and maintaining multiple high-traffic web platforms and internal systems.
What We’re Looking For
A credible technical lead with proven full-stack experience who enjoys combining hands-on coding with mentoring and team management.
You’ll be confident leading across backend, frontend and mobile projects balancing technical depth with delivery ownership, and the ability to guide developers towards deadlines whilst maintaining quality.
You’ll be comfortable engaging with stakeholders to understand priorities and plan technical improvements that deliver measurable outcomes.
Technical Skills & Experience
Strong PHP / Laravel expertise with solid OOP principles
Hands-on experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, or Next.js)
Strong understanding of MySQL database design and optimisation
Proven experience leading or mentoring developers
Experience conducting code reviews, 1-2-1's and supporting best practices
Familiarity with Agile delivery, sprint planning and the ticketing tools (Jira, ClickUp)
Understanding of secure coding, testing methodologies and deployment processes
What You Will Be Doing
Lead the day-to-day development, testing and deployment of multiple systems
Provide mentorship, direction and code reviews across the development team
Plan and prioritise workloads to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met
Maintain and evolve existing web platforms, APIs and mobile integrations
Collaborate with stakeholders and the IT leadership team to define technical roadmaps
Troubleshoot performance issues, implement improvements, and reduce technical debt
Ensure systems meet secure coding standards and are well-documented

We’re working with a growing equipment company who are looking for an experienced and highly organised Operations & Executive Administrator to support two company Directors and coordinate day-to-day operations.
Full-time, Monday to Friday, office based.
This is a varied role combining PA support with hands-on operational and administrative duties. You’ll manage diaries, purchasing, invoicing and logistics, whilst acting as the central link between customers, suppliers, and the internal workshop team.
Key Responsibilities
Provide PA support to two Directors which includes diary management, meeting coordination and communication handling
Oversee rental and operations systems, managing bookings, dispatches and returns
Coordinate between workshop, suppliers and clients to ensure smooth daily operations
Manage purchasing, invoicing, and general finance administration
Handle incoming calls, enquiries and correspondence
Maintain accurate records, reports, and system data
Support general office and business administration tasks
