About the Role

We’re working with a well-established and recognised brand to recruit an IT Support Technician to join their collaborative IT team, providing remote and hands-on technical support. This is a Norwich-based role with occasional travel to other local offices as required.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with IT support experience who enjoys problem-solving, working with people, and who is looking to grow and develop their career in a supportive internal IT function.

The Role
As IT Support Technician, you’ll be the first point of contact for users across multiple offices, providing technical support, resolving IT issues, and helping to ensure the smooth running of systems and equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support across hardware, software, and networks
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a Windows desktop environment
  • Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance, updates, and system administration tasks
  • Support wider IT projects and assist with new equipment rollouts
  • Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures

Desired experience
  • Ideally some previous experience in an IT support or helpdesk role
  • Knowledge of Windows desktop troubleshooting
  • Understanding of networking (LAN) fundamentals
  • Hands-on experience with hardware, printers, and multifunction devices
  • CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification

Personal qualities
  • Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach
  • Confident, approachable, and a team player
  • Organised and able to manage your own workload effectively
  • Enthusiastic with a keen eye for detail
