We’re supporting an FCA-regulated organisation with the hire of an Analytics Engineer to strengthen its modern data and analytics capability. This is a hands-on role focused on building trusted, reusable data assets that support reporting, product insight and decision-making across the organisation.
What you’ll be doing:
Designing and maintaining clean, scalable data models (e.g. star/snowflake schemas) and defining consistent business metrics
Building and improving ELT pipelines in Databricks using SQL and Python/PySpark, with a focus on reliability and performance
Feeding curated datasets into Power BI (including modelling and DAX where required) to support trusted reporting
Working closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into data logic, and improve how analytics is consumed
Contributing to good practice around documentation, data quality checks, lineage/metadata and version control, helping raise standards across the analytics function
What we’re looking for:
Hands-on experience in Databricks plus strong SQL and Python/PySpark
Evidence of owning end-to-end analytics delivery
Comfortable working with business and product stakeholders, challenging requirements when needed and translating them into clear data logic.
Strong data modelling skills and confidence defining/standardising metrics
Good Power BI experience (data modelling; DAX beneficial)

Key responsibilities:
Inspect products to ensure they meet required quality standards.
Use wiring schematics/diagrams to verify electrical assemblies are correct.
Carry out electrical testing using CIRRIS CH2 or similar test equipment (where applicable).
Maintain accurate quality records using Excel and the Microsoft Office suite.

We’re working with a specialist equipment business in Framlingham that’s looking to add a Service Technician to the team.
The role centres on repairing and maintaining electrical equipment used within their hire fleet, so hands-on electronics experience is a real advantage, someone who’s spent time repairing electronics, using tools and ideally doing a bit of soldering.
What you’ll be doing
Fault-finding on inspection kits, monitors and control units
Repairing or replacing components such as connectors, cables, lights, circuit boards, and small mechanical parts
Carrying out basic soldering and wiring repairs
Cleaning, preparing and testing equipment before it goes back out on hire
Making sure repair notes and service records are kept accurate and up to date
Keeping the workshop organised and working safely
Helping with occasional local deliveries/collections when needed
This role will suit
Someone with hands-on repair experience; ideally in electronics, wiring, soldering, or similar “bench repair” work
